Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of the Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or engaging in other risky behaviors. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is forbidden, as is using the vehicle for purposes it was not intended for. Exceeding passenger or weight limits, as well as driving outside designated geographical areas without authorization, is also not permitted.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Workington accepts no responsibility for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is capped at the amount you paid for the rental within the past year.
